Welcome to Our Nursery

As you can see in our school title – Hadleigh Infants and Nursery School  -  our Nursery is an important part of our school.

Located at the front to the school we have a large room with kitchen and toilet area, a covered courtyard which allows the children to be outside in most weather and a large outdoor area.

The Nursery can accommodate a maximum of 39 children in a session and a maximum of 78 children overall. We offer morning, afternoon or all day sessions on a flexible basis. Once selected these remain the same for at least one term. Children attending all day are asked to pay for a school lunch.

The Nursery is staffed by job share teachers and qualified nursery nurses and provides a large range of activities based initially on the three core areas of learning - Communication and Language, Physical Development and Personal. Social and Emotional Development and then  as appropriate introducing  the other four areas of the Early Years Curriculum – Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Art and Design

Children are entitled to 15 hours free provision a week and will start in the September after their third birthday. As the year progresses we offer additional paid sessions ( when available) and these can be booked in advance or on an ad hoc basis.

If you are interested in a space for your child you are very welcome to come and look around the school. Please phone Mrs Reader in the School Office on 01702 557979.  If you would like to complete an application form click on the link.
